i began baking at home in 2007 when a roommate shared his pizza cook book with me. i was amazed that i could make pizza dough at home and after years of making bad pizza and loving every bite i wondered if i could make bread. after another few years of thoroughly enjoyed poorly made yeast breads, i wondered again if i could take another step and make sourdough. eventually i was no longer satisfied being self taught, and baking only in my free time. i left my job as a residential solar sales person and began my career as a baker.
